Pedralbes (Zona Alta)
Commonly referred to as the 'Upper Zone' of Barcelona, Pedralbes is a mostly residential area featuring high quality, modern buildings including developments with community areas, private gardens and swimming pools. This district offers extensive planted/green areas, wider streets than in the older centre of the city and a general sense of open space.
Considered one of the most exclusive zones, Pedralbes houses many of the foreign schools and universities in Barcelona. Easy access to motorways, airport and "Rondas". Quiet, family oriented environment. Connected by either FGC train or metro (Maria Cristina/Zona Universitaria stations). Close to Diagonal Avenue, parks, tennis and sports facilities.
